I was asked to join Mess Up The Mess Theatre Group to facilitate a 4 day workshop at Swansea YMCA working with the Good Vibes group. Good Vibes is a safe space for young LGBTQ+ youth to explore their identity and be apart of a community. MUTM conducted a focus group session to understand what the young people would like to explore through creative workshops. The theme chosen was 'Self Expression' with a focus on fashion. I was brought on board to develop the young peoples skills and help create custom garments that were unique to each individual that engaged in the sessions. We went to the local charity shops to explore what the participants could up cycle, then we spent a few days together customising our garments.

I also worked collaboratively with a Poet and a Sound Artist to incorporate their words from the poem and sound that was created into their garments. The hope was that these artworks will be worn in the Swansea Pride Parade.
